Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and A&A Investments LLC ("SayEstimate", "we", "us"), the operator of the SayEstimate app at app.sayestimate.com and the sayestimate.com website. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, email us at support@sayestimate.com.
The short version
- SayEstimate is a tool for running your contracting business — your data stays yours.
- Pay for the plan you use; cancel anytime; no long-term contracts.
- The Forever plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
- AI features produce drafts and suggestions — you're responsible for reviewing numbers before you send them to a customer.
- Don't misuse the service (spam, illegal activity, breaking in, or reselling it as your own).
What SayEstimate is
SayEstimate helps contractors and home-service businesses create and send estimates and invoices, collect e-signatures and payments, schedule jobs, track expenses and time, and use AI assistance for drafting documents and related tasks. Features vary by plan and may change as we improve the service.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract to use SayEstimate.
- Keep your login credentials secure — you're responsible for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate business information; it appears on the documents you send to your customers.
Your content and data
Everything you enter — clients, estimates, invoices, prices, photos, documents — belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. You can export your records and delete them, or your whole account, at any time.
AI features
AI features (line-item generation, plan and photo reading, drafting, the assistant) produce suggestions based on the information you provide. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. You are responsible for reviewing every estimate, invoice, price, and message before relying on it or sending it to a customer. AI output is not professional, legal, tax, or engineering advice.
Payments between you and your customers
Card and bank payments from your customers are processed by Stripe under your own Stripe account, and payouts go directly to you. We add no markup to processing fees and never hold your funds. Your relationship with your customers — the work, pricing, taxes, refunds, and disputes — is between you and them; SayEstimate is not a party to those transactions.
Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans bill monthly (or as a one-time purchase for the Forever plan) at the prices shown on our pricing page.
- Free trials convert to nothing automatically — if you don't subscribe, your account simply loses paid features.
- You can cancel a subscription at any time; it stays active until the end of the paid period. See Refunds below.
- AI actions are metered per plan; unused actions don't roll over except purchased top-ups, which don't expire.
Refunds
- Forever plan (one-time purchase): 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not happy for any reason within 30 days of purchase, email support@sayestimate.com and we'll refund the full amount — no questions asked.
- Monthly plans (Basic, Pro, Crew): cancel anytime and your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't prorate or refund partial months, except where required by law.
- AI top-ups: refundable within 30 days of purchase if none of the topped-up actions have been used.
- App store purchases: if you purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds are handled by that store under its own policies.
- Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
Third-party connections
If you connect third-party services to your account — such as Stripe for payments or QuickBooks Online for accounting sync — those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and you authorize us to exchange your data with them only to run the features you turn on. You can disconnect them at any time in Settings.
Acceptable use
Don't use SayEstimate to break the law, send spam or deceptive messages, infringe others' rights, upload malicious code, probe or disrupt our systems, or resell the service as your own. Marketing emails you send through the service must go to customers who expect to hear from you, and must honor opt-outs. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other users at risk.
Service availability and changes
We work to keep SayEstimate fast and available, but no online service can promise 100% uptime. We may add, change, or retire features. If we ever discontinue the service, we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
SayEstimate is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, A&A Investments LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Termination
You can stop using SayEstimate and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive (your ownership of your data, disclaimers, limitation of liability) survive termination.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
